Camuzzi Gas
O&M multicloud for critical hybrid infrastructure
Nublit took on the 24x7 comprehensive operation of Camuzzi Gas del Sur’s hybrid infrastructure: three public clouds, on-premise environment, AS400, and dedicated links in two datacenters. All under ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000 processes, with met SLAs and unified monitoring that freed up internal team to focus on the business.
About the Client
Camuzzi Gas del Sur is one of Argentina’s leading natural gas distribution companies, with operations covering Patagonia and the south of the country. With a hybrid and complex technological infrastructure — combining Azure, Huawei Cloud and AWS, on-premise environment with legacy servers, AS400 system and two datacenters with redundant dedicated links from Telefónica and Claro — the company required a partner that could take on the full operation of that entire platform with high standards of availability, security and efficiency.

Needs
Operating a highly complex hybrid and multicloud infrastructure The environment included three simultaneous public clouds, on-premise HyperV servers, an AS400 system, and dedicated links managed by two different carriers. Maintaining all of that visible, controlled, and available required a team with real multi-cloud experience.
Proactive management of the network and dedicated links The two data centers relied on critical links with Telefónica and Claro. Managing that connectivity—including monitoring, fault detection, and coordination with carriers—was an essential part of the required service.
Reduce internal operational load without losing control The internal technical team needed to delegate the day-to-day operational complexity to a trusted provider, while maintaining full visibility and traceability over incidents, changes, and the evolution of the platform.
Having a structured plan for evolution and continuous improvement Beyond reactive support, the company was looking for a partner that could identify opportunities for cost optimization, architectural improvements, and the systematic adoption of new cloud capabilities.
What was done?
Initial assessment and definition of the operational baseline
At the beginning of the service, a comprehensive diagnosis of the existing architecture was performed based on the best practices of each manufacturer (Azure, Huawei, AWS), identifying deviations, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Security policies, backups, tagging conventions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) were defined.
Operation managed 24x7 over the three clouds and the on-premise environment
Nublit assumed full operational responsibility: continuous monitoring, incident management with a severity-defined SLA, IAM administration and hardening, and the execution and periodic verification of backups. All managed through a ticket system with direct customer access.
NOC applied to dedicated links and AS400 monitoring
A dedicated NOC service was added for the dedicated links between the two datacenters (Telefónica and Claro), including monitoring of communications and networking, and coordination with the carriers in the event of failures. The monitoring of the AS400 system was also added.
Processes aligned to ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000
The entire operation was structured under internationally recognized service management frameworks, with formal change management, periodic review cycles, continuous technical documentation, and the generation of a consolidated knowledge base of the environment.
Results
Unified visibility and control over a complex multicloud environment:
Centralized monitoring of the three clouds, on-premise environment, AS400, and links between both datacenters.
Operation continues with SLA met:
P1 attended within ≤ 1 hour during business hours and ≤ 2 hours outside of business hours, with documented compliance on a monthly basis.
Reduction of internal operational workload:
Camuzzi's team was able to focus on strategic business initiatives without dedicating resources to night watch or infrastructure incident management.
Proactively managed critical connectivity:
links under monitoring and active management, with direct coordination with Telefónica and Claro in the event of network issues.
Consolidated knowledge base and documented operation:
complete technical documentation, eliminating the need for individual knowledge.
